Welcome! I'm Kellyn, a holistic hairstylist, scalp care specialist, reiki practitioner, and astrologer with 18 years of experience. My passion lies in cultivating healthy hair and scalps through my signature balayage technique, creating natural, dimensional tones as well as customized scalp facials for a head spa experience targeted to treat and nourish your hair from the ground up.
Beyond my titles and certifications, including Wella Master Color Expert and American Board Certified Haircolorist, I believe true beauty stems from self-love. Embracing holistic practices, clean products, and specialized scalp care, I'm dedicated to nurturing a loving relationship between you and your hair.
Currently delving into trichology studies, my focus extends to custom scalp facial services, addressing scalp concerns and issues from dandruff, inflammation, bacteria, as well as hair thinning to hair loss conditions.

Step 1. Request
Book online using our online booking system under “New client” sessions select full or partial specialty color
Tip: Select full specialty color if you haven’t had your hair done in 6+ months and partial if you like your color and are looking for maintenance. Select color correction if you need a transformation, big color change, or correction!
Step 2. Select
After you select your appointment service, select “Kellyn” under employee options.
You can select the day & time that works best for you at the top OR select the first available, which will show at the bottom of the box.
Step 3. Fill out form
Fill out the consultation form that will pop up and upload your current hair photos and inspo photos.
Select Submit and pay the $50 deposit, it will go towards your appointment, and I will review the consultation form and approve the requested date.

Did you know traditional shampoo is filled with detergent, parabens and harsh chemicals that strip the hair and scalp of its natural oils which leads to overproduction of oil (we see you, oily hair), a completely stripped scalp and damaged hair?
That's why I’m obsessed with New Wash, a natural hair cleanser filled with essential oils to provide moisture for hydrated, healthy hair that never needs conditioner again.

I work for Sunbeam Studio - located at 1655 Cannon Circle in Louisville. Easy parking in front of the salon. We are in a commercial area and behind the building Igadi Dispensary, next door to Yakoda and Zinn Cycles.

We have a strict 48 hour cancellation and rescheduling policy at Sunbeam studio. Be sure to move, cancel, or reschedule before the 48 hour mark to avoid a fee.
At sunbeam studio, we require a $50 deposit to hold your appointment. If you wish to cancel a preexisting appointment, please contact our salon directly. Our salon requires a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel within the 48 hour window you will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment or “no call no shows” will be charged 50% of the full service amount.

My hourly rate is $130/hour and includes anything needed to get the job done - no extra costs for treatments, glosses, bond builders, styling, or curls!

The price doesn’t add-on any gratuity. It is always appreciated and accepted on a credit card if you wish to leave a gratuity.

Yes! Gratuity is always an option to add to a credit card payment. I also gladly accept cash and Venmo if you wish to use a different option.
